AN EASTER EGG IN THE VIDEO GAME
Human Design as Morpheus
What is Morpheus’ role?
His role is to look for individuals who are ready to leave and unplug from the matrix. In other words, he is able to recognize the people who are ready to decondition from everything they have been taught by their parents and society—beliefs that are not true and that cause them to live a life of compromise, half-heartedness, mediocrity, dull repetition and frustration – the Matrix.
In The Matrix, he offers Neo a choice: stay in illusion (False Self reality) or face the true reality (True Self reality). Human Design works in a similar way.
It doesn’t force anything on you—it simply presents a system that you can either ignore or experiment with.
Human Design is for you when you are ready to learn the truth about yourself and are willing to undergo a process called deconditioning. That means to unlearn everything you have been taught about yourself. Deconditioning can be a tough and sometimes ugly process, and
I like to use The Matrix to demonstrate this. What is Neo doing after he arrives on the Nebuchadnezzar ship? Basically, he is learning to fight. He is fighting against his biggest enemy, which, according to the movie, is himself—more precisely, a negative version of himself.
This is what the internalised ego-program is. It is a program that, when not clearly seen, makes you believe that it is you (False Self). You then act out its beliefs and untruths, which leads to frustration, fate, and a life you don’t actually want.
Agent Smith, in this sense, is a representation of the ego-program within each of us.
We all carry both individual and collective conditioning. Individual conditioning relates to the way our parents treated and raised us, while collective conditioning is an ego-program shaped by decades of religious programming and policies that often serve their own agendas rather than the common good.
Human Design operates on various levels. On one hand, it shows you your ego self—your matrix self, your false self—in great detail. On the other hand, it shows you your True Self Design: the way you are meant to navigate through this “video game” of life in a way that is beneficial rather than detrimental.
The more you live according to your correct design—and that includes basic aspects like proper food and how you take it in (which is one of the strongest forms of conditioning on this planet)—the more aligned you become. Factors like your diet type, environment, strategy, and authority all reveal how you nourish your body so you can play and be at your best.
The more aligned you are with your Human Design, the easier it becomes for your body
to follow its correct trajectory, find its purpose, and unplug from what we might call the matrix—or the internalised ego-program.
